Kareem Shehab

BIO:

Kareem Shehab is an all around staple and legend to the entire fixed gear community. Former pro rider, film maker, and now currently most known as the owner of Master Bike Co, he is often attributed to saving the FGFS scene in 2016 with the creation of the company due to lack of part availability.

Coming from a Blading background, Kareem got into fixed gear bikes in 2006 as a hobby to accompany blading, but ended up consuming his life. With a background making skate videos, it was only natural for Kareem to also make fixed gear videos. As a result, he is the man behind some of the most popular fixed gear videos and DVDs, including Death Pedal, Death Pedal 2, Big Money Hustlaz, Southern Safari, and many more online edits.

In 2009 along with Massan, Kareem become the first ever sponsored team rider for Leader Bikes. He continued to ride and produce videos for them until 2013, even designing and producing a signature frame with them: the Pharaoh. Kareem and Leader parted ways in 2013 when they discontinued their FGFS program. Kareem then rode for Hold Fast on their Subverter frame until 2015, and then went on to create Master Bike Co.

Although Kareem is not often considered to have a wide bag of tricks, where he shines is his handrail and hubba game. To this day, he has still grinded some of the biggest handrails and hubbas in FGFS.
