Johnathan Ball

BIO:

Johnathan Ball, more commonly known as “JBall”, is a top Southern California fixed gear freestyle rider originally based in Orange County. He has nearly equal strengths in both FGFS and Trick Track disciplines.

His first solo edit released in 2011, but it was an edit later that year and an appearance at Summer Fix 2011 that got him noticed and landed him his first sponsor, All-City Cycles, in late 2011.

Johnathan was known for sticking with 700c wheels longer than most riders, but eventually switched to 26″ wheels in 2018 when he acquired a Ruff Bike Co. sponsorship.

His crew, Suck My Cog, started releasing content in 2010 and has since become a leading name in fixed gear freestyle media. They host events, run a website, create content, and give riders a platform on their popular Instagram page.
