Jimmy Watcha

BIO:

San Jose native Jimmy Watcha is a current pro FGFS rider. Coming up as a grom at the height of FGFS in the early 2010’s, Jimmy has been around greatness for most of his riding career.

Coming up with his peers in the Fixieboyz408 crew as well as having some of the biggest names in FGFS in the same city, Jimmy had a huge community to ride and progress with. Through edits put out by Daniel Le, Jimmy’s name started to spread across the internet and gain him attention and sponsors.

2013 was the year that took Jimmy to the next level. In October Jimmy released his Unknown Bikes edit. While he had released multiple good edits in the past, this was the one that showed that his riding had taken a step up and solidified him within the top tier of riders. Jimmy started to lead the charge in peg progression, doing grinds and grind combinations that were extremely hard to come by in the scene. With this edit, it helped his case to be invited to the 2014 Red Bull Ride + Style invitation contest, where he placed 8th.

After the dismantling of Grime Bikes, Turf was created in its ashes with mostly the same team. One of their new additions though was Watcha, where he would film a section for the Word Is Bond movie. This section would truly notify the scene that Jimmy was here to stay at the top level.

When Master Bike Co. was established in 2016, Watcha was one of the first names to be added to the roster. He would get his own signature colorway for the 2016 Hightek frame release and has since gotten a signature colorway with every batch of frames.

The Watchaback edit released in 2019 by FOAD Gang showcased some of the highest level of peg use ever. To date this is his latest released video.
