Jakob Santos

BIO:

Jakob Santos is a former professional FGFS rider and a current professional Big Wheel BMX rider. His rise to fame in the FGFS world started in 2010 with his Day and Night edit along with his feature in the 2010 DVD Revoked.

Jakob became well known for his go for it mentality. While his tricks may not have been the cleanest, he was airing higher and jumping farther than most riders early on. This paired with nerves of steel created a machine on the bike.

Jakob grew up with a skateboard and BMX background. Being naturally gifted with wheeled devices, a fixed gear bike was no different when he hopped on in 2009. He continued to dominate the scene and travel the world with his bike until 2016, where he quietly took a step back from the scene to focus on family and pursue other endeavors.

During Jakob’s reign, he would consistently be a threat at any competition he would attend, nearly placing podium every time. Not just competitions, but he was a content powerhouse; releasing web edits constantly and having sections in multiple DVD’s including Revoked, Big Money Hustlaz, and Can’t Fool The Youth 2.

While Jakob was a NorCal native, his sponsorship with Livery Design Gruppe in 2011 brought him to Huntington Beach, CA where he would work and ride for a living. His relationship with LDG resulted in a signature stem, signature handlebars, and a planned signature frame called the TWOSIX that would eventually fall through. This resulted in him changing sponsors and landing on the prestigious SKYLMT team. He would move back to Northern California in 2014 when he changed teams.

Jakob still stays in touch with the scene, occasionally picking up his FGFS bike and posting a clip or two, but is now one of the key figureheads in the wheelie bike scene.
