ABOUT:
The Grime was a rider-owned company based in New York owned by pro riders Mike Schmitt and Edward Laforte alongside Joe Krillz. The company was key in progressing the 26″ and pegs movement and was a staple in Fixed Gear culture as a whole. Their frame, the Yo Mang, was the first commercially available 26″ specific FGFS frame on the market. The company disbanded in 2013 due to personal differences and rebranded to Turf in 2014.
