Daniel Torres

BIO:

One of the original members of the PFG (Peninsula Fixed Gear) crew and one of Northern California’s FGFS pioneers, Daniel Torres made a name for himself early in the scene in 2009 and continued to turn the heads of veteran riders for years to come.

Although clips of him on a 26″ bike do exist, Daniel, also known as Danimal, is best known for sticking to big 29er bikes (with and without pegs) and going full send at everything he set his mind to.

While coming up, him and Taylor Dwight would go head to head in many PFG web edits, both of them pushing each other to learn new tricks and in turn pushing the entire scene forward.

Daniel’s only frame sponsor was Destroy Bikes, but it was more of a family than a sponsor. Daniel was Destroy for life, and continues to be even after putting down the Fixed Gear bike.
