BIO:
Chris Clappé, also known as The Butcher, was a Seattle based former FGFS pro.
Chris made a splash early in the Seattle scene with his Trick Track, combo heavy style. Being a presence in the Future Tense events, he had the opportunity to star in ZLOG‘s web edit titled The Butcher, and Wayne Morehart and Tom Briggs’ The Revival, which put Chris on the map worldwide. Since then, Chris was a key player in the FGFS scene as a whole, often being associated with the ZLOG and CSK crew.

Chris was one of the first members of the All-City team in 2009 and played a part in developing their 29er frame: the Def Wish. As the scene slowly switched over to 26″ riding, Chris was one of the few remaining die hard 29″ riders. In 2012 Chris would go on to ride for Hold Fast and sport their 29er frame: The Converter.
As well as a good rider, Chris became the key cameraman for the Seattle CSK crew, releasing multiple VX mixtapes and edits that made waves in the scene.
In 2014 Chris made the switch to Hold Fast’s 26″ frame, still sporting no pegs, and made his final appearance in the 2014 film, Stay Strapped.
