Bootleg Sessions v.4 was the final installment of the Bootleg sessions series by Ride/Relax Productions. The DVD sections were primarily separated by different regions throughout the world.
While the video featured seasoned pro riders at the time such as Ted James, Mike Carney, Tony Fast, John Watson, and Tom La Marche, the video introduced the mainstream fixed gear scene to future stars of the sport such as Oscar Khan, Mike Schmitt, Yuhei Hirose, Sam Hanson, and Teppei Iwabuchi.
The video symbolized a changing of the guard, ushering in a new generation of riders and marking the end of an era for many of the big riders the scene was familiar with.
