Antonio Wothe

BIO:

Antonio Wothe is a Milwaukee-based former pro FGFS rider currently located in Northern CA. In the past he has famously been part of the Milwaukee and Long Beach scenes. Antonyo has been on the scene since 2009 and is what many would consider him an ‘OG’, still riding to present day (although he had a riding hiatus from 2016-2019). He is currently unsponsored but still putting out content with the bay area scene.

Tone would make himself known in the scene with his community involvement and signature riding style, which heavily consisted of technical sub maneuvers such as footjams, tooth picks, and ice picks that he picked up from his BMX background. Nobody else at the time (2010) were doing these tricks. Soil Thornton took notice, and added him to the WRAHW roster and pushed him into the FGFS mainstream. His Welcome to WRAHW web edit would gain over 12k views. He would go on to put out another video for WRAHW a year later while still in Milwaukee, which gained over 13k views.

Late 2011, Antonio would move to Long Beach and create the Fixie Factory house alongside Matt Spencer, Kris Sundet, and Vincent Shim. More would later join the house or often stay at the house including Justin Mitchell, Joe Mckeag, Corey San Agustin, and more. This crew would become notorious for their online antics alongside an incredible amount of riding talent. Matt Spencer would essentially become the in house content creating force, delivering videos such as legendary Wolf Drawn video parts, the Kvlt Klips series, and misc. B-roll edits that would showcase more antics. Antonio would contribute to the content himself with the famous FF Power Hour series alongside Facebook videos showcasing antics throughout the house.

With Matt Spencer behind the lens, Antonio would release one of the most popular web edits of all time among riders, his 2012 WRAHW Sprung edit, which gained over 24k views. In this video Antonyo showcased incredible technical skill.

Over the next 3 years (2013-2015), Antonio would slowly dial back the riding and focus more on his career. In 2016, he attended the Birth of Barcelona trip for Chop em’ Down films alongside Jackson Bradshaw, Johnathan Ball, Michael Penrose, and more. This would be one of the last times we would see him in FGFS content on the web for years.

4 years later, in the bay area, and now sporting a mustache, Antonio bought himself a Master Bike Co. build and began riding again with the SF crew. He would re-find his spark for riding bikes and now is consistently riding and releasing videos alongside Matt Dizon, Andy Sparks, Snow O’Connell, and many more.

Antonio is involved heavily in any community he becomes a part of. While in Milwaukee, he would help create and organize the famous Midwest Mayhem competition series, which would run from 2010-2012. While in Long Beach, he would host rides, ping pong tournaments, Call of Duty tournaments, Kendama jams, and help build DIY spots around Long Beach, most notably creating the famous 7th street rail spot.
